1) Introduction

Welcome to Gbero.io (“Gbero”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4) Service Description

Gbero provides a technology platform that connects passengers with independent drivers travelling along similar routes. Gbero does not own vehicles or provide transportation services. Drivers operate independently and are responsible for legal compliance (licensing, insurance, vehicle roadworthiness).

10) Intellectual Property

The Services and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned or licensed by Gbero and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features. Where changes materially affect your use, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in-app notice or email). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gbero is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Gbero does not control drivers’ actions and is not responsible for incidents caused by driver or passenger conduct. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under the FCCPA or other applicable laws.

13) Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, safety risks, fraud, or unlawful conduct. You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain clauses survive termination (e.g., IP, liability limits, dispute resolution).

14) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved by courts of competent jurisdiction in Lagos State, Nigeria.
